i dont see why you would need it, but anyway, you would have to get someone to weld a bung so you could actually put an external wastegate on your car.

Tial 38mm external wastegate, recirculated back into exhaust

Take this as you will, but if you freely admit knowing nothign abotu external wastegates, how to install, them or sized them properly, maybe its time to rethink even needing one.

Ext. wastegates are usually in the "collector" area right before the turbine inlet, and since a mkiii never came with an external, you either need to have a flange welded to the stock manifold, use an adapter as pictured before, or use a tubular style manifild that is already flanged for one.

I think the bigger question is do you even really need and external wastegate.

Maybe I'm having a brain fart, but I don't get this at all. Shouldn't it be coming off pre-turbo and then bleeding off into the DP.

It looks like it is coming off post-turbo which will not regulate the turbo at all.

i have worked on many N/A motors and this supra is my first turbo car, i dont plan to do it myself right now but i want to undestand how things work, i am sorry if you know it all or if you just read things on books or internet, but i am very sure you dont even know how you own engine works, you just repit what other say, if that is actually what you think you dont get the message what forums are for. YOU KNOW THAT MUCH YOU SHOULD NOT EVER LOGGED IN
