How the hell do I....

How the hell do I get the clip on the rear cam position sensor off the sensor so that I can check the resistance. I just cant seem to get my fingers or any tools on it to pull them apart.:aigo:

Sounds a lot like the problem I had with my water temp sensor today on a 7mgte. I had to remove the power steering pump res. What a PITA!

for tough clips, (albeit on the inside of my car) i used an allen key to push in the pin.

remove the hoist hook for better access and use a screw driver to push the pin

what? I just squeezed it with my fingers, or you could get some curved needle nose pliers.

You got lucky, mostly the pin is quite stuck, once you manage to push that in properly it will come off easy.

Thanks a bunch Im gonna try it again in the morning...I removed the hoist hook but it got dark outside and I live in an apartment so my time for wrenching is usually limited unless Im at my uncles shop.
