How much scuff is too much?

At what point do I need to replace the pistons? I just pulled them and found the exhaust sides ranging in scuffed-ness.

So... How much scuff is acceptable, if any?

A few other members have used em. Theyre a decent stock replacement piston if you're low on cash in my opinion. Others may chime in on em.

Go with forged pistons man. Those are pretty much gone. You can some nice fogged pistons for around 600. It will be worth your time and money.

Those pistons are as useful as Pamela Anderson's vagina.

Get a set of CPs. Trust me on this. Blah blah blah, I used probe and they are good. No, they're machining is not very good when it comes to consistency.

I was eyeing these up on feebay as well, anyone know about NOA pistons?

I think I have scored a goodish set of stocker pistons in the classifieds here though, I'd rather have stock that some "Mystery" pistons made out of who knows what...

One of my friends built a motor with those ebay pistons and he was making around 400whp on it. Id trust em if i was on a budget, but if i had a little more to spend id go for Probes or something else.
