How much power?..

Just got my first supra running for the first time ever!.. id like it if someone can give me some orientation on horsepower expectation. I have a 7m on a stock ct-26 with a little bit of mods, not much(more SOON)here they are please give your input! appreciate it! thank you.

- Greddy type-s BOV
- Ebay intercooler w 2 1/2 piping
- Aftermarket Radiator
- HKS FCD
- Gutted cat
- 3 inch straight piping (mandrelbend)
- K&N intake filter


....... oh and kepping in mind these things as well for the cars pick up.


- Eliminated A/C
- Electrical Fan (weight of the crank)
- And the car is COMPLETELY gutted. (except for the driver&passenger seat)

*IF* his engine is in good shape, which is less than likely considering it looks to be 20+ years old.

Remove the FCD NOW! It's a recipe for a blown engine. Fuel cut is your friend, albeit a really annoying one.

Considering what a FCD does, it's a grenade with the pin pulled on a stock motor. Yes, you can run one, but issue wise, an FCD can cause a BHG in a microsecond from an over boost-to-detonation without any additional fuel control. Consider the HKS alphabet soup of piggybacks was designed to work together.

Concerning this thread:
1) It has absolutely nothing to do with anything technical on a 7M engine.
2) It's another "let's all guess what this or that will do". All speculation.
3) Considering the number of this type thread in the past, it's closed.
