well

math should answer that question :)

255 lph = 4250 cc per minute.. this is at what ever the rated flow of 255 lph is at.

4250 cc per minute max

so we take that number and calculate
(4250cc/min / 10.5 ) / .5 BSFC hp = 809hp MAX at 255 lph. Now keep in mind that if i recall, the 255 lph is a ZERO psi (ie free flow). That number drops with higher PRESSURE.

ninjaedit: thanks the Grand National guys :)

so with this new information

200 lph @ 45 psi = 3333.33 cc/min

(3333.33cc/min / 10.5 ) / .5 BSFC hp = 634.92 hp.. keep in mind this is CRANK power at 45 PSI now :)

where did you get those formulas and what do they mean? If i had a walbro pump what psi would i want to run with 440s but i want to go bigger injectors but dont know what kind to get im shooting for 500 horse but want to make more some day who knows

basic horsepower calculation formula.. can be had at most fuel injector site but www.rceng.com works fine. Keep in mind to use like values.

42 psi is what the stock 7m sees at the fuel rail without vacuum on. With vacuum on it drop to around 36 BUT as pressure rises the volume of the pump goes down.. see the picture i posted... at 45 psi it looks like 52 gph. At 60 psi it would be flowing only 46 gph instead. 6 gallons difference. BTW at 60 psi that puts you roughly at around 15 psi of boost give or take a few psi at the fuel pump (think rising rate adjustable fuel regulator like aermotive).
