this weekend i saw a 91 white package with some aftermarket wheels on it sitting in the back of my local toyota dealer and all i could see was that it was a 91 turbo targa white package minus the wheels, auto with unknown miles and it had hte sticker on the window that just said no warranty. i have no idea what the price was or anything else cus i saw it at like midnight and i'm gonna go today and ask how much.

so guys take a stab at how much a toyota dealer would ask for our cars.

see who comes the closest.

i'd guess around 6k,it's from the dealer,of course so it wont be cheap. they might say,"well Mr.Toyota himself sat in this VERY seat, and that empty cofee cup was his too"

keep geussing im driving over there in like 2 hours, while i'm up there i'll ask them how much that 91 costs and ask them how much they would pay for my 92 white pack turbo w/ 73kmiles, they will probably offer like $2k and try to sell for $10k.

In washington? Hard to say I don't live there. Out here I wouldn't be surprised to see 10k for a turbo auto targa, with anything under 100k miles.

Wow, over here they can charge you as much as you are willing to pay w/o warranty as far as I know. Outside the original warranty of course.

so i went and had to hunt down a sales man cus they dont hang out in the back lot and i found a guy got the keys and asked how much??? he says $8900 so kwnate you take the prize for being the closest. i was like wow you really expect to sell for $8900, and he see's my car parked next to it. "yea"

so i pop the bonnet and if nate remembers my car its the same clean engine bay. cept this was pressure washed and i tell him yea it was a bad idea to get the engine bay wet its TOTALLY stock airbox and stock elbow and bov everything. interior totaly clean.

wtf am i saying its IDENTICAL to my white package car cept 131k miles, smokes like a bitch chocking on oil on startup for about 2 mintues then clears up. runs smooother than hell. tranny is tip top. but it has some ugly ass black 17's on it.

anyway i say "its gonna need a head gasket so i'd need a compression check, valve stem seals are bad and have to pull head to fix it, or the turbo seals are bad, and gave him shit about how the flex plate may need to be changed cus i can "hear" it. so he says. how about $7k.

i said ummm doubt it. but i'll run a car fax which btw if anyone can jt2ma71nxm0154862

but i'm having a friend go test drive it and offer $4.
the next day having a friend go in offer $4

and have them complain about same issues ya never know enough people complaining about broken this and that i'll try to get him to about $4-$5k.

i could probably get atlest 20 people to do this. btw he didnt even try to bullshit knowledge about the car to impress me when he saw mine. he spent the whole test drive asking me questions about the car.

btw i forgot how SLOW 7m's are when they are totally stock.
