I'm getting a Torsen 4.10 differential from my buddy and I'm just curious how much they go for in good condition?

How Much For A Torsen 4.10 Diff?

Not sure about the price, but they aren't as strong as the Stock US diffs. Not sure how much power your running, just thought I'd throw that out there.
I've got about 300 rwhp with my 1J and R154. How much power will the TorSen 4.10 diff hold? I'm hoping for 350 rwhp soon. Right now I'm running a stock US 3.73 diff that came with my 90 turbo targa.
After doing a little research in the MKIII section of SF, I've decided there's no way in hell I'll buy a JDM Torsen diff. I just watched a vid on 1jzpower.com and the guy shattered his diff. And I just read about several guys shattering them doing minor hard driving. With the way I drive and how much I like to play I can't get this diff. Thanks for the info Mister Crispy and kwnate, you two just saved me a shattered diff.

The Torsen is fine really, Just Don't put it under instant shock(IE rev and dump).

I was under the impression it was: don't let one wheel spin up over the other and then give that one grip again. (Could happen easily with a properly placed bump in the road.)Mister Crispy said:
500+rwhp here and never broke mine even with a solid centre twin plate, all depends on your driving style.
Solid Centre Twinplate was referring to the clutch I was using, very very harsh thing in use that beats the drivetrain. 
Oh, I thought you were talking about the diff. I don't know anything about diffs yet. I'm running an ACT clutch kit rated at 405 HP/Ft. Lbs., which is about 100 more than I currently have.
