How many teeth on the CPS and NA Dizzy?

Hey Guys,

Can someone tell me how many theeth there are on the CPS and NA Distributor? Also, if someone has one of each laying around and has a digital camera I could really use pics of each with the cover/cap off.

Ian has a pic of a modified NA dizzy,
Ne has 24 teeth in both cars, G1-G2 is two sensors, each one reads the same single tooth wheel 180 degrees from each other. G1 is cyl1 tdc, G2 is cyl6 tdc. Maybe vice versa, but it really doesn't much matter)

I'm running a MicroTech LTX12 standalone from Australia on my 5mgte MK2 and the Dizzy/CPS set up has been a nightmare. Nobody really could tell me how to wire it up etc. my 5m's dizzy has a 24tooth wheel and a 2 toothed wheel (2 teeth are 180 degrees apart). Sounds like the same teeth etc has the 7m's cps/dizzy. I'm wiring up 3 GM coils here this week, and running it in a waste spark set up like the 7mgte is.

I'm probably going with an NA Dizzy and running an MSD ignition and ditching the coil packs.

well my MicorTech LTX12 has the ignition stuff built into it, so I need "dumb" coils. And since I am limited with the CPS/dizzy I have to do waste spark set up.... 3 coils. anyone know what I should do about Plug wires? I think i'm going to mount my coils on the firewall... So I'd like some 5m/7m plug wires that fit nicely, but they're not long enough. So should I just do universal Straight boots, or buy some 7mgte plug wires and mount the coils like the 7mgte?

COP? Dont know that one.

For $400 I am gona give the Megasquirt stuff a shot. If I dont like that then I will look at Microtech, FAST and AEM.

As Jake mentioned I modded an NA dissy to run with my Wolf Standalone.

I left it with 6 teeth and used a single Toyota trigger.

I'll use this system in the Ute motor as I upgraded to 2 x MSD Dis4's and 6 x MSD Cdi Coils.

CoP is Coil on Plug 2JZ style.

Pic was during the mockup stage I removed the other pair of pickups.
