Hi all,

I'm about to install my PTE 550's. Someone mentioned that there have been 'issues' reported with PTE's.

If you're running them, how have they been...any problems?

I don't want to install them if we've got a 'Venom' type situation brewing.

Thanks!

If I didn't trust the source, I have them checked for sure! They came from Dr. Jonez w/1k miles on them.

I'm not concerned with flows, I'm concerned with failures of any kind.

I've searched through a number of threads and can't seem to find any real complaints about PTE injectors in general. So I don't know...?

I'll make a phone call in the morning and see what info I can find out. If that source confirms good performance, they're going in!

Ive had two sets 680s and 550s I got both sets from importblowout on ebay I had both flow tested and ran both feeding a gt35r both sets flow tested perfect, for peace of mind I would get any injectors flow tested that do not come with a flow sheet.

PTE injectors are great injectors, that is what Sound Performance uses on all their cars. They are the same injectors as RC's. I'll be buying a set from SP next week.

Only issue were proper fitment - early gen PTE's required machining and a washers to accommodate the additional length and OD. The newest versions are a direct drop in fit... New versions are easily identifiable because they'll have the PTE logo emblazoned.
