To the power steering VSV, or whatever its called. On my GE, I was just curious if it not being connected affected the system and how.

Thanks Guys

If it doesn't affect it, why is it there?

It prevents possible stalling when you load the engine without accelerating it.

Engine would have to be in poor tune to stall over the PS being turned full clock. It does however keep idle quality high and prevent a studdering idle that will usually cause the steering wheel to have a vibration.

To give you a little more clarification and answer your question, as long as you dont mind seeing your idle dip to 450 - 650 RPM with the A/C on and the steering turned full tilt waiting for the woman with 8 kids and 2 shoppping carts to load up so you can get that space next to the door. It will be all good. If you feel you paid so much for the car that it should never fall below 700 RPM and give the slightest shudder, then by all means hook it up.

Ohhhhhhh haha, alright I got it. Good to know, yeah Id rather it stay above 700. I finally got her idleing at 750 when shes warm, took forever, now I think my ACIS is bad.. its all hooked up and she kicks at 3800 rpms... shit
