how fast is my car I wonder

just curious as to what my car can compete against. MY mods are as follow:

-3 inch downpipe(wich then connects back to the stock exasuht
-ractive carbon fiber series muffler
-Wastgate shimmed to 8 psi
-Drop in K&n filter

Just curious also to what hp should i Be at with theses mods too as I might be planing on goign to a dyno soon and mabye just wonder what I should be at.

Alsoi with theses mods would I stand a chance against last genertaion preludes, integra GSRs, 5.0 mustangs, v-8 camros and firebirds???

yeah I was excpeting to hear that but nearest strip is like an hour and half drive and im poor. I was thinking of buying a G-tech PRO off ebay for liek 30 bucks how accurate are thoses things?? It measures my 1/4 mile and hp wich is all i need to know(measures alot of other stuff too, 0-60 would be nice to know as well).

how come the hp measurment in them is so far off then???

because a real drag strip averages your MPH over the last 60', the gtech takes an instantaneous reading @ the end of the 1/4.

so are they even slightly accurate on hp or are they like 50 hp off??

I can give you an idea of what you might run, if you don't bog it too bad. my car's mods are; Mbc set to 11.5psi, full 3"turbo-back, Blitz Nur-spec, Apex i intake, HKS mhg, ARP studs to 80lbs. Greddy Type-S bov. The only thing that held me back from seeing high 13's was the fact that my car is an auto, and launches like it's stuck in the mud! All it's times were very consistent though. ET's between 14.80-14.40, with traps between 95-98mph. I'm going to be on a .57 trim upgraded CT, with a MKIV fuel pump and Aeromotive vfpr and the line that eliminates the J-tube,and pulse damper on the fuel rail, soon. So I expect those times to be in the mid to low 13's, if my auto trans can take it! Hope that helps you, good luck on not breaking anything! My Turbo was not the same after that night, thats why I had the .57 Trim built. :icon_wink

Agreed on that and for 30 bucks on the G tech this guy wants to buy, save it and use that for gas money :biggrinbo
