Speed Test

I have noticed over the last year or so that my typing speed has increased dramatically. I use to be a one finger typer, and had to look at the keyboard all the time. I just took a speed test and grossed 37WPM with 87% accuracy. Net was 32WPM. I think that's good for someone that has never taken a typing class.

How fast can you all type?

I can go much faster if I'm typing from my head and not reading something and copying it.

Yeah, I could probably go WAY up to 40WPM if I didn't have to read and copy. :biglaugh:

Net Speed: 73 WPM
(words/minute)
Accuracy: 92%
Gross Speed: 79 WPM
(words/minute)

Fuck my life I'm slowing down and getting less accurate. Not bad for a guy who fires a gun for a living.

My problem is I think far faster than I type... I'll never be able to type words as fast as I can think them. I run about 60 WPM with a 95% accuracy rate when typing someone elses text. When typing my own thoughts I tend to type the beginning of one sentence and the end of the next. My brain outruns my hands all the time.
