Ok this is old to me but I have a guy that ripped me off on some parts a long time ago. Not on this forum, this was when I was still rocking the turbo civic. Anyways I call him on it he says it's a mistake and he didn't know, the parts were bought by him and never used/inspected. So I say no big deal just give me the money back and were fine. So he contacts the seller from where he originally got the parts and he received his money back. Now that was back in august of 06. The guy dissappears untill a couple of weeks ago, I pm him about 20 times and he finally answers me. He wants me to drive to him and get my money. Well I have done this once before, his friend said he had the money for me meet him in a central location to both of us, I went ended up spending alot of $$$ at the mall (took my son and g/f with me BIG MISTAKE) and spent 4 hours total.

During this time I called numerous times, left numerous messages to only have the phone shut off after the 5th-6th call. Still didn't give up. I have started alot of buyer beware posts and everyone vouch's for this guy and gives me nothing but $h!t.

Would you go to him or not? It's about 1-2 hour drive. I would be worried about what would be waiting on me when I got there due to the fact of being in his neighborhood and me trashing his name (even tho he deserves it)

It would really depend on the ammount of money to me. Some things aren't worth the time, effort, and trouble it would cost. That's going to be your decission. Good luck either way. Sometimes it's best to write it off as a lesson learned. I know that doesn't help you, but you're the only one that can make this call............lol

well he's from covington KY, but works in cincy. Seemed like a good guy untill all this happend. Im tempted to go down there but don't feel like going to jail or worse to the hospital. You never know how many people are going to be there and if I took all my friends it would cost me the money he owes me for gas in our cars. Would take the supra but it's not close to streetworty right now and my exploder won't outrun his little civic.

i was dealing with this ""KID"" from LONDON KY quite some years ago.
he was claiming to be selling some clear head lights like what are on the 90-95 300 ZX for a newer ford probe on ebay...
I wheeled an deeled with him outside of ebay since he said he could do it for a mk3 supra but needed the flip up head lights to take measurements..

my dumb ass sent him my stock flip up lights, an 450.
weeks went by, an nothing.
mind you, I live in Pittsburgh, an he's in london KY.
after his excuses, his number got disconnected.

then, I must have lost his address, , an I was shit out of luck
all, I remember was h lived in london KY, an his name was Mark.

if I could remember the address, I would drive down there an if I couldnt get my money, , lets say, i'd have a ski mask on beating his face in..

an of course to get my ass out of the state of KY as fast as possible...

thankfully, one of our bothers hooked me up with some head lights, from one of his parts cars..
