How do oil relocation kits work?

Ok so i have all the stuff in this pic but im a little confused about something. The inlet and outlet to the block is at the same port. If oil is coming out how does it go back in if its at the same port? Am i missing something or is this how it works?

For a full flow system like that a T-Stat is essential.

There are 2 ports on the block adaptor in and out!

well i know all of that but at this point theres only one point of entry or exit of the block.

The block has 2 ports in/out one in the middle the other in the Annulus (ring around the outside)

not to mention you could very well pick up an addition 2 qts of oil capacity depending on the setup you decide to go with.

OK With the sigle relocation do you plug the oil return from the cooler to the pan? Or do you plug the inlet on the adaptor on the block?:icon_conf

^plug the hole in the pan. Look at the diagram in the first post. It explains it quite well.

I have -8AN lines to my relocated oil filter and oil cooler. I'm wondering if I should move up a size if -8AN is too small.
