I need some ideas on how to get the back 2 bolts out of the drivers seat with it slid all the way back, and there is no power to the car at all. I have my motor out of the car, and both battery cables came with it. Is there a way to hook up the cables, so I can get power to the car?

I have a pigtail with extended wiring that fits the plug closest to the console. I have removed them from parts cars before with it, but they were pre 89 seats. Is there a difference? I can't remember if I ever had another plug to fit in the other place. The one plug and a battery don't seem to be doing it like it has before. The seat definitely worked before I removed the motor.

Also, I have removed the dash. Will the plugs that I disconnected have any effect on the seat? I have these seats sold, and need to get them shipped. And, it looks like the next thing sold will be the targa top. I gotta get the seat out of there very soon!

I did do a search, and I didn't see any easy help. I did see this, but it does absolutely nothing to me. Any help figuring that out (if it will work with no battery) will help as well.

To help others in a search.......What I did was, I connected the two battery cables back to a battery, making sure to connect the auxiliary wire to each to each cable. I also made sure that the opposite ends of the cables were not touching anything at all. This powered the car, and I simply just used the switch on the seat.
