How do i get the front fenders off....

k i saw cygnus but i have one problem...

right where 53903B is, there is a small bolt. it is under the plastic thign and i am afraid of braking the plastic yet i can't get that stupid piece. but ill figure out that on my own. Other then that, everythign is off but the fender doesnt seem to be moving at all. im afraid of pulling and cracking it. i dont wanan pull too hard but can i just pull when i have all these bolts off? if yes, whats the best way to pull it? from the middle of the wheel well or some other way? THIS IS A SERIOUS QUESTION.

alright don't laugh but i cannot get them off.... Its like im fender retarded or something... Do i need to take teh front bumper off? Or is it just ridiculously hard to pull off? i feel like if i pull, im gonan snap something...

Don't just pull it, that's how it breaks. Once everything is removed just wiggle it until it starts to come loose.

Maybe try using a rubber mallet and hitting it in different directions (Just be careful where u hit obviously)

As for getting the fender off, I just got all the bolts out (some are a real pain) then just wiggled it till it came off. Did you get all the bolts and nuts out? I know I had problems with that. I figured I had them all out then tried to take it off and kept finding more. The ones that hold it to the header panel are the worst

No, you do not need to take the bumper off. As for the header panel, extensions and swivels are your friends

I feel your pain, I had quite a few cuts on my hands after pulling the fenders off.

2 bolts holding in the nose. maybe 4 right along the lines of the hood(under). and I think 1 or 2 and you have to open the door to get too, also you gotta take the mud flap off to get the bottom 2 as well. also the supports inside the wheel well.

what worked best for me was removing the plastic wheel wells and reaching through with a long extension and ratchet and voila.
i learned that re-installing the fender while my bent fender went in the trash:cry:
dont assume its all ready to pull on, thats what i did:nono:
$350+paint later at toyota lesson learned.

yeah my whole car was pretty much appart lol
it's easier with the wheel off , and there is like 10 or so screws holding the cover on.
i did the same thing at first, cut my hand to shi* trying to get those two bolts that hold the nose piece on.
