ISC + Cold Start Injection. i soon will be setting up a VPC on my car and i know i could get rid of the isc with that. What im wondering is what do i hafta do to get rid of the ISC system, is there anything i should be plugging up? i might be having a FFIM made soon too so i'm trying to not have many things on it, thats why i want to also get rid of my cold start, its probably fucked anyways because the car has trouble starting up on cold ass days.
Anyone Input?

Thanks.

ok the first question is why??
If it is not BROKE don't fix it???

2nd.... MIGHT, SHOULD COULD. You either find out for certain or don't touch it. MIGHT, SHOULD, COULD get people into lots of trouble. ISC system is there for a reason. And it is not to be a paper weight ;)

i agree with figgie. i run speed density and i still run the ISC valve even though i could probably get away with not using it.

empera, I will give you the answer you are looking for....

I am not running an ISC or cold start injector. I do not have EGR, or a charcole can or VSV's.... I have removed my cold start injector relay/time switch, and the cold start injector setup. I also just unplugged the ISC and made a block off plate for it after I went through three of them. I have my idle set to 900 rpm hot. when I first crank it up, in these 20 degree mornings we've been having, it idles at about 600 rpm. I just let the car warm up good before taking off(as you should do anyhow). It works perfectly, and my car behaves exactly as it should. I have been running it on this setup for about 7000 miles now, with no major issues. I have no power steering idle up either. I have no problems turning the wheel at a stop nor does it act strange when I turn on the A/C... either or both of those make it drop to about 800 rpm. That is perfectly acceptable to me.

And anyone that is going to give me hell about this, go ahead.....
Here is something else for you.... I'm running an atmosphericly vented greddy type S BOV

:)

Have a nice day!
