How can I get a c12bs to work on the 1jz?

I just found out last week that i got a blown turbo w/ my motor from osaka (don't ever buy from that place even though it is cheap) and i heard that w/ modifications you could fit the c12b's on the 1jz. Could anyone tell me what the modifications are that needs to be done to make the c12b's work?

From what i remeber is drill a hole
mount a stud somewhere
and port the manifolds and use a custom y pipe
It was really easy form what i remeber.

Do you know where to drill the hole then mount the stud? Does the c12a's intake piping that bolt up to the compressor side of the turbo bolt up 2 the c12b's?

from what i have heard (remember im a 7m guy) The ct12a's piping fits the compressor directly, but as i said before you would need a custom y pipe after. I dont know where you mount the stud but id assume it would be around where the original turbos were mounted.

I thought I read somewhere that you need 2 front turbos and a custom y-pipe. I believe Arnout documented doing all of this somewhere.

Here are some apparently upgraded aftermarked ct12a's with steel wheels instead of the ceramic ones... Im no turbo guru, but I do know that the ceramic wheels in the ct12a's are its weak point and is the reason why they dont exceed 15psi... This maybe a more viable option for you because you have everything to make it work.. but your wanting an upgraded turbo being that you have a blown one... try this out.. dunno ask around about this steel wheel thing... As I said I am no turbo Guru.. im just trying to help .

you can run more than 15psi on your CT12As if you want...

CT12Bs blow up too.

remember the 12B's will add lag infact a lot more to the 12a and about 500 rpms on the mkiv so you wont spool until about 4500+ - 5000+ rpms. something to do with .5 ltrs less gas passing through the turbines and the heavier steel blades.
