Hawks are gonna take em...
you all saw the hawks win on saturday, after losing Alexander in the first quarter, followed by an injury every five minutes thereafter.

If the Hawks want to win (and I hope they do) they need to run the ball very well and CONTAIN smith.

they did a good job at containing Moss against the Skins...but smith is a different kind of animal, hes fast as fuck. they also need to put heavy pressure on Delhomme....when hes under pressure, he tends to throw lob, high arched passes..this would be a good position for the linebackers like Tatupu to make interceptions.

its gonna be a tough game, thats for damn sure.

all i want to say is that all of the sports commentators (esp. bommer esiason, howie long) can now stfu and quit their jobs.

oh, and doesn't anybody know better to say who "exactly" is going to win in a football game? doesn't anybody know better yet?

Seattle, see you guys in a week! Good luck to both teams, and congratulations!

edit: oh, and how about bettis' fumble, and vanderjacht's kick... jeez.

YHS, sorry i didn't return your pm. i'll hit you up when i return. :)

The hawks will win! They won't have any trouble with smith, he is exactly like santana moss whom they shut down other than that wounded duck that our guy tiped to him... I really don't think there is a team remaining that could beat the seahawks. I'm sorry, I've waited my whole life for this 25 years. We've never been to the superbowl... It's our turn baby!!!!!

GO HAWKS!

Im about as big of a seahawks fan as any...im just thinking more routside the box. Nobody thought the Colts could be stopped, yet the Steelers beat them...the Steelers..bet them at indianapolis..the steelers in which got their ass kicked in the regular season by the colts.

basically..any given sunday.

seahawks are ONE of the best teams in the NFL, no doubt about that.

then you have the Broncos...arguably one of the best well rounded teams in the NFL. nobody ever talks about them, they never boast, but they always win.

Seahawks have an incredibly well balanced team. Their offense is amazing...the passing game, the running game, they all got it down. When alexander was down, strong and the other guy stepped up. hasselbeck proved once again that he is one of the elite QB's in the NFL. Their defense has grown and has done it really quick. Everyone used to question their defense, but as long as you have tatupu giving his side the boost they need in being a leader..they will succeed.

my main concern as of lately is turnovers and speecial teams. they CANNOT do what they did when they played the Skins. those fumbles cannot happen or they will not make it past carolina.

i think you are underestimating steve smith...Moss is good, Smith is SICK. hes so incredibly fast and has great hands...he has the ability to also read the defenders footwork to he know wether to go in his original direction, or change up. seahawks will have their hands full with smith, but with the right defensive scheme, they have the ability to handle him. they just need to presure delhomme ALOT. make him work for everything and you are granted the fact that hell fuck up somewhere.

the bears really disappointed me...i mean 290 yards given up in the first half alone will not win football games...the bears had pleanty of chances to take the game and they didnt....no pressure on the panthers qb, steve smith, and our corner backs tripping on every play will not work.....our cornerbacks trying to get the big hit instead of making a tackle is just plain stupid

I think our defense will keep the Hawks in check. Ken Lucas is on fire this year. And Julius Peppers is a beast. Even the ESPN guys (who NEVER show carolina any love) agree that the Panthers' defense has no weak spots. And on offense, Steve Smith is hard core. Deshaun Foster is out but Nick Goings is a bad ass runner also. As long as we show up with our A game, I think this Sunday we'll pull off a big win.

Well I think its going to be one hell of a game. I think it could go either way. Whoever wants it more... It'll come down to one big play I think. Hope it goes the hawks way but good luck to you guys too, it'll be fun to watch.

is peppers gonna play? last i heard, he was questionable.

i now think that if the seahawks want to stop steve smith, they gotta do it by stopping Delhomme.

he he he....lezbo cheerleaders...mmmmmm

Peppers is still listed as questionable, but there's no doubt he's gonna play. I think you guys should be more worried about Shawn Alexander and whether or not he knows his own name. He took a hell of a smack last week. Having a concussion is no good.

Also, its gonna be tough to get to Delhomme cuz our O-line has really turned it up the past couple weeks. I think the ESPN guy had it right. "Your #1 way of stopping Steve Smith is to pray that he gets the flu."

The Panthers have been the big under-dog in both playoff games so far. (and look what we did to NY) And I think we proved that home-field advantage don't mean jack shit in the post-season. So it is definitely going to be one hell of a great game and i can't fukkin wait til Sunday. Gotta go stock up on beer tonight.

And I promise that if the Panthers win, I won't talk TOO MUCH junk, if you promise the same thing if the Hawks win. :)

good luck to you too
