Hot igniter

Probably a rhetorical question but... Should the igniter get so hot you almost can't touch it? If you leave your hand on it for more than a quick 3 count it becomes quite un-comfortable. Thanks for your input.:icon_bigg

The thing is I've never checked before so I don't have a frame of reference. I upgraded the igniter ground this past weekend and after doing a few other things while she idled I just happend to lay my hand on it and wondered WTF.

Yeap. I didnt know if it was radiant heat from the motor that made it hot or the ignitor itself made that much heat.
