what is the hose that goes to the top right side of the waistegate to the intake?

umm, im assuming that you mean the wastegate ACTUATOR, (the soda-can looking thing facing the front of the car)? If so, that hose doesn't go to the intake, although some people have routed it there, because I have heard it is supposed to give more power or something?

Hah, what a terrible idea. Picking up the boost pressure farther down the intake lets overboosting occur without much trouble.

heh...especially considering the intake sees NO boost EVER.... you might as well be running open wg.....

i dont think were talking about the same hose. its not on the actuator its to the side of it.

There is a dipstick that goes in that area, IC pipe, vacuum hose, turbo oil line in that area... not a whole lot else. Emmission, pvc, bov and ISC hoses go in to the accordian. Unless someone put something new in the area. Don't know what else to tell ya.

it doesnt matter either way. i replaced it and it still didnt fix my car.
