So when I bought my car the horn seemed to work when i tried but ever since i got it it has been on and off it will work about 30 percent of the time. now i was highway cruising and noticed that my cruise control wont work either. when i press the cruise button on the left side of the steering wheel the cruise light doesnt come on. it worked about an hour before. what do you guys think the problem is? maybe just loose connections? are the horn and cruise control somehow related?

The only thing they share in common is that they both run through the slipring on the steering column to get the connections to the steering wheel. It might be corroded, or something.

Might want to disassemble it and clean it up, etc.

Like Jeff said. When I was at Toyota, I had to replace worn horn pins all the time. Pull the steering wheel and check all the contact surfaces.
