A few years ago all over ebay and other sites they offered a plastic gasket/ spacer for the intake manifold. Blocked heat transfer. Any one know were I can get one still:cry:

Actually they work quite well, but I'm unsure of how well on a turbo appellation, also haven't ever seen one for a 7m
i can say that i do have one on my 7M, and i do have a air intake temp sensor in my intake manifold (i put it in cause i was living in the dessert in southern cali) and i will have to say that my normal driving temps are down, just doing normal day to day driving around town, and not getting into boost to much, my manifold stays pretty chill, never really warms up, so if you want to say that it dosnt do anything, i would say it dose, cause we all know cooler temps do help out.
