I own :D

i was helping my friend completely restore this car...and we decided to take on the bodywork and painting as well.... so today we made his garage a paint booth and finished up all the body work and got the car sanded down and a very light coat of primer on it and slight sanding... a few more sanding sessions and another light coat of primer and it should be ready for paint next weekend.

Ahh man, I wanted to do that with my car, but I have no patience for sanding and priming. I'd rush and mess up big time. Good luck to you guys tho. What color is it gonna be?

None of your fucking business
Looks like fun!! One suggestion, take the nose cone of and paint it seperately that way the gap between the fender and the nose doesn't crack like mine is... Note, I'm not a painter, it just seems like a good idea to me!

all of the pieces were taken off and for cleaning purposes...and then BARELY bolted back together...so its nowhere near tight so everything will painted easily....

this allows the paint to be even rather then have it all seperate pieces and whatnot....

for the record....i HATE sanding....

I need to learn how to paint a car. I don't think it would be that hard (for me) though. I'm pretty profecient with spray cans. :icon_bigg

Looking good. I HATE sanding too..

I'd love to be able to do that, but living in an apartment I'll be lucky to be able to do the body work/primer at home, let alone the paint.

Can't wait to see the finished product.

if that's a targa car, and you paint on the seals, get new ones... the seals on mine were painted about a month before i got the car and they are seriously disentegrating... and the guy had them replaced a month before that.
