Holy shit, we got the call!!!

My father in law's @ Shands right now, prepping for kidney transplant surgery!

Some of you know about my beef with my mom from my childhood, but damn, Jon's the best thing that's happened to her. It's been rough with the dialysis and all, but got the call LATE last night that they had a kidney for Jon.

Evidently, there was a holdup due to traumatization of the 18 year old that died, though.

How can you ever thank a parent enough for allowing their child's organs to save a life? Christ, a thank-you card doesn't even come close.

Room 9531 @ shands. Obviously can't get visitors right now.

Wow. That is an amazing act of kindness. Good luck with the surgery. If there was a way to see the parents in person I am sure just one look into your eyes would say more than enough.
