I remember there were a few instances like this already, where someone buys some property and some one finds cars. I remember one where they found cars in a bunch of those semi truck containers.
Wow, news spreads fast. I just posed this on SF. Regardless, I envy that guy so much. I guess ill have to keep dreaming stuff like that will happen to me.
^^ ya i was thinking who the hell would have a warehouse of vintage cars and just "forget" about them when they moved.:icon_conf
...the owner ten years later.... "HOLY FUCK!!!!!! :icon_mad: I FORGOT ABOUT THE 100 PRICELESS CARS I HAD LOCKED IN MY BARN WHEN I MOVED!!!!"
-theres just no way
If i came accross something like this i would not tell ANYONE i'd just start pulling 1 car out at a time and clean the shit out of it and getting it going then register them 1 by 1 to my name to secure ownership.
I would not mind retiring to something like that!, every month pull out a new one and clean it up and bring it back to its original shine.
That porsche alone will get this guy some time to just sit in his barn washing and restoring the rest of the cars.
I just found out that I have no respect for automotive history, or rather, that my greed supercedes it, because I would sell those ALL in a heartbeat. Not one of those appeals to me, but the money sure does.
