If anyone has about $10,000 to spare, I can program that in about an hour, maybe two. You'd have to hang your own lights though. It's easy to do with the right equipment.

It's scrooge, but I like your way better.

BTW, I don't actually advocate spending that much money on christmas lights, thats just a best guess estimate for a cheap lighting control rig to make that work.

I think if you built controlls for a living, that would be a good project.

A few years ago, some guy did this to his house, and the local minister came down on him so hard, that he never did it again. (Something about the spirit of Christmas, and comercialism, but I think the Minister was wrong, it's a great celebration of Christ to put up Christmas lights like this.)

I feel like i can revive this thread with some news.

I just got home tonight and my mom said that there was something on the news about this guy who put up these lights.

She said that Budweiser hired him or something to show his house on a commercial. hahah I think thats hillarious. He just happens to live in the same town as my grandma and it was on the local news. She said the neighbors/(cops... she cant remember) asked him to stop because they were causing little accidents in the neighborhood. lmao
