hole next to turbo oil return

what is the whole just to the left of the turbo oil return on the block? im figuring i dont need it no more with my new turbo and just requires a plug. but still curious..

I'm pretty sure that's right. I have the support sitting in a box back home, but I haven't ever put it on, so not totally sure.

I'm with you guys. I'm pretty sure it's for the lower manifold support bracket.

After digging up some pics I had of my motor, I can't make out that exact spot becuase of the angle, but I know none of the supports bolt there...

northwestsupra, sorry for the bum info in my first response - I thought you were asking about the hole to the left of the dipstick tube. Duh. Yeah, all the orange circles in IJ's post are oil pressure.
