Well, I made a small break through today.. took my car for a test drive after I fired it up trying to locate the sound it was making before.. it wasnt making it. so, I took it for a drive and on my way back home I went to turn my wheel to turn onto my street and there was that lovely chunking/knocking sound. Well I get it into my driveway and leave it running and turn my wheel as I get out and again klunk klunk klunk.... well, I turn my wheel back and forth and as I hear the power steering pump work away it's making an awful cunking sound... sooo... no rod knock.... but something else, that has to do with my power steering... could my PS pump be going or is it something more severe? It makes the sound regardless of if i'm moving or not. :1zhelp:
