You'll love it but start practicing your Japanese - you won't get far without it. Road signs and subways are all in Hiragana so get a grasp on that too.

The car scene is not what you expect. I saw 1 car with a fart can the entire time I was there. I saw more old Chevelles / Novas / Mustangs then I saw tuners. You're in for quite a shock...
