Hey all, I just got my Gracer front bumper (with the +89 grills and signals)

well, i got my stock bumper off only to find that my bumper support bolt holes dont line up with the gracer.

I tried marking the bolt hole location with chalk and ATTEMPTED to drill into my bumper support.. but that proved to be noisy, futile, and a huge irritant to my folks. lol

So, i just want to know if im missing anything, and i CAN use my pre 89 bumper support with my gracer, or do I have to get a +89 bumper support?

will the Gracer bolt directly to a +89 bumper support?

hell, will the +89 bumper support bolt up to my pre 89 chassis?! lol

Thanks for the support all! I just got my car back from the depths of rod knock hell, and I want to make a good re-introduction with this and bomex aero parts i scored.

please, help me in bringing the luster back into my baby!

Bumper support is no problem. You will , however, need the upper bumper support (behind the "nose" piece) from an 89-. There are no mounting points for the 89+ grilles or signals since the 87-88's are longer.

Actually my friends do it too. haha. Makes it easier to get on the trailer and also when the car goes off track the bumper just falls off and not break on impact.

well, some one tell me this, how do i zip tie my gracer on?

I got as far as each fender side, but it just sags in the front because its not connected any where where the pig nose is.
