Just recently got a VPC to go with my F-CON unit, the F CON is running the D105 chip wich should be the correct chip to run with the VPC.

Now I really wanna go with the GCC as-well as I think that it would be really cool to have everything kinda old school and matching, but...........

This Technology ......I have never dealt with before, I've been trying to do some digging but havn't really been able to find what I need, I just wanna know, if I go with the GCC VPC combo(like that was intended back in the day) do I still need to run the F CON or would it be useless to run that anymore????

Like does the GCC override the F CON's mapping? or does it work with it???

I really do wanna run all 3 together but just need a little help......

If I sound like retard I am sorry I just have never seen this setup before or know how it all works into one complete system ...

Cheers

You can wire all 3 to be run together. The FCON will just provide a different fuel map than factory ECU that you can adjust with the GCC. So basically, the FCON is pretty useless at this point but can still be retained. Most people (myself included) go with the SAFC when using the VPC since it is supposed to clean up the VPC signal (if wired correctly) before it reaches the factory ECU. The SAFC also provides more tuning points than the GCC.

Yeah I have heard of going with the SAFC as well.....
For now that answers my question I think I will go with the GCC and stick with the ol school
