Hey guys,

I have a Type 1 Timer and I can't get the thing to keep the car running. Is there something im missing? Something that needs to be hooked up that i didn't? No matter how i set the timer it always shut off when I turn the ignition off and the car runs for like 1 full second after. Thats it. Anyone know why this is happening?

do you have it set for auto or a set amount of time? is your ground hooked up correctly? how bout the e-brake switch?

I tried T1 T2 and A it never stays running. I haven't got the ebrake hooked up but it should still work right? When the ebrake is up its at 0volts so it should think its up all the time if its not hooked up right? The ground is good as far as i can see. The unit works just won't keep the car running

My greddy timer just worked as long as there was a time on the screen. Is there a trick to the HKS?

does it still count the time down, or stop the timer?

I'm going to start troubleshooting mine because it counts down, but doesn't keep the car running. Knowing whether or not it does would help me rule out the E-brake as a reason...or preferably fix it alltogether :D

so cal
put that ebrake wire on the ebrake signal or ground it... if that cables not grounded or hooked up to the ebrake signal wire, it will keep the turbo timer running and turn the car off...

well if that's the case then I guess it's my timer, I just got back from re-checking all the connections and it seems like it just went on the fritz. Any electro-heads that want to try and troubleshoot mine can have it for cheap I guess.

yeah guys it was the ground on the ebrake wire. Its working fine now.

wingman: when the grey wire (ebrake wire) wasn't ground the timer would just shut off when I turned the ignition off. It didn't count down it would just go dead with the car.
