I am collecting parts for my project and I have the opportunity to get my hands on an HKS Super AFR for a very good price ($100). How well do they work on Supras?

Goal 350 RWHP 1987 Supra turbo

I have tried using a HKS SAFR in the past on my 1991 Nissan 200sx CA18det and I found it a nuisance to tune and swithced to a Field SFC Hyper R instead. However the Fields cannot work on KV systems.

Parts List

ARP Head Studs @ 90ft of trq
OEM head gasket
New Bearings(M, CR, TW)
ITR Pistons with rings

sounds like you already answered your own question ?

I have one but have not tuned it yet. I did do a write up on the installation wiring and a Excel spread sheet to aid in tuning. Maybe they'll be helpful if you decide to use it.

I had it on my supra. IT worked great with no problems at all. Even had the EIDS to help prevent stalls when not routing the bov back to the intake. Only problem was it was a hassle to make tunning changes.
