Bought it and put it on. I was always worried about running rich and bogging down between gears. Not a problem for me. I'm so relieved. I do backfire every once in a while, but nothing serious. I'm wondering if anybody has the same luck as me and why some people would have problems with their setup.

theres an adjustment screw on the back, some people dont bother to set it up correctly and then bitch when it bogs and dies. i had mine set for the sp61 and when i had to put the stocker back on i didnt bother messing with my ssqv. i backfired alot more and it was opening up at a much lower boost setting (10psi ish) take the time and adjust it and you can probibly get rid of the back firing.

i'm not sure what they're set to, but i'm assuming that they're not set VERY tight. the way that the ssqv works, is that boost holds it SHUT, so technically, it CANNOT leak under boost, then when you let off, the switch over to vacuum is supposed to open the valve, purging the pressurized piping.

i would assume that it's just enough to not leak all the time, like when idling/cruising when you're under vacuum... but i really cant say for sure, because i dont have one yet, so havent taken one apart. :p
