HKS SSQV Install

So I've found a kit that comes with the SSQV as well as a special mounting bracket made to mount it in the stock location. Here's the link for reference.

My question is, has anyone installed this before? I'm not too familiar with the 1JZ yet (as you can probably tell by my previous posts) and I was wondering if anyone can offer some insight or tips / tricks / do's & don'ts for this install.

Honestly I think it would be much cheaper and better to install the BOV off of an IC pipe close to the throttle body, and disable the stock valve. That kit seems fairly expensive for what you get.

That's just an example. There's a performance shop near me that sells the same kit for half the price (the reason why it's so expensive there is because it would be coming from J-Pan)
