I saved for a while. Now i seem to have some up with enough money for an exhaust. So I was wondering whether I should get the BIC Thunder, or the HKS super dragger, both seem nice but I'm not sure, I know that the super dragger isn't as loud as the BIC but I'm not sure I want to wait till Randy gets back, then gets to my order. Any comments would be greatly appreciated(sp?). And, No I dont want to get a Blitz.

Eh, its so, not loud. I want my car to be like me, obnoxiously loud, yet amazingly cool. :3d_frown:
HKS Super dragger is not loud at all. I know, I had one, so believe me. It was sooo melow, I loved it. It also had the biggest pipign you could get at the time, but now with bic and hpf they went past. Still, it was an easy instal, and souded as good as it looked

What wrong with the Blitz NUR? I run it and love it, Everyoner always says it is too loud, but I wish it was louder and it is 85mm piping (just under 3.5 inch). The Greddy, Tanabe, the Blitz, and HKS are all top notch, nice looking, well performing exhaust.
I second this! I'm running a test pipe with my Blitz Nur and don't use the silencer. The Blitz Nur Spec has an awesome sound, not too loud, but yet not too quiet. It doesn't even drone inside the car on trailing throttle. The only problem I have now is people pulling up beside me and revving their engine looking for a race . . LOL!

I know blitz is loud as all hell without the silencer, otherwise it's fine.
Personally I like tanabe and I hear super draggers are quiet as well.

Not too loud cruising, but when you open her up got a nice throaty roar to it (without the silencer).

The super dragger is a sleeper exhaust... sound wise .
There were like 3-4 supra's at the Louisville meet with them and you couldn't even tell the cars were running at idle half the time! Not a loud exhast system at all IMO.

The reason for not wanting the Blitz is because I'm more of a angled exhaust person. I think I'm gonna end up getting the Hi-Power though, my friend has it and he's in love with it. Although he has an sti, sounds nice.
i use to have a super dragger and really liked it. definatly not too loud, like previously said though all the exhaust mentioned are very nice as well.

There is a vendor that has a sound clip of the Blitz system, I just can't remember who right now. Maybe someone else will come up with it. Next time I have my car out, I'm going to get a short video/sound clip to post up.

I checked out a metric calculator thingy on the net one time and it came back as 3.3" OD, so 3.2-3.1: ID is a good estimate...
