Im planning on getting a HKS stopper 2mm HG. I know it will lower the compression but will it mess with the timing or any other thing? Any other info on this MHG would be appreciated.

Depending on how much material has been removed from the head or block, we can't accurately answer that.

If it doesn't quite compensate, or overcompensate for material removed, it wouldn't hurt to degree the cams. Not a necessity by any means, but it'd be good.

It will do nothing to the timming. The only thing it will lower is the compression like you mentioned, and the amount of money n your wallet. I don't know what your goals are with your motor, but there are several other gaskets that are much cheaper and willl do a fine job.

It sure will alter the timing if the gasket doesn't make up for any material removed from the deck, and head surface, or if the gasket overcompensates for such.

I am not sure I understand how the the thickness of the gasket will alter the timming. Weather the head was milled or not. All the timming is in the head, both ignition, and cam timming, and I don't thing it knows weather it is an extra 10mm above the head or and extra .5 mm above the head. Maybe I am missing something.

I come from a land down under
The gasket thickness will change the distance from drive pully to driven so does affect the timing.

To degree my Cams in using a 3mm MHG I needed to set them to 4 degrees retarded but with a 2mm MHG they end up around 1 degree.
