High T.P.S voltage

Ok guys really need some help car has been splattering running rough had a mechanic check it out after a day of looking his come to the conclusion that the computer is bad giving high TPS voltage signals. Telling the iinjectors to push 30% on start up and at all times. So sent the computer off to SIA electronics for repair and today they tell me nothing is wrong. Any help out there we r lost had the sensors unplugged,spliced into TPS Signal see if it was grounding out and nothing

Either you're explaining it wrong or your mechanic is clueless. What is the voltage of VTA with the TPS plugged in? And does the TPS spec out on resistance with it unplugged?

Maybe the STA signal is some how shorted to 12V when the key is on because of the ignition switch and that is what he is observing?

Could be but since all kinds of things happen at 500 rpm it'd be piss poor coding if STA was still being sampled past that. 3p probably knows. We need more info on what VTA is doing to rule it out. I can tell you this though: feeding a WOT VTA signal (appx 3.5 vdc) or plugging a spare TPS turned full open into an idling engine shouldn't result in 30% more injection.

I'm sorry really have no clue how to say it, I have told them to start with spark pugs and fuel filter yet they went off with the conclusion that the computer was bad. There is oil in my pvc and it splatters when pressing acceleration, I was thinking valve covers were leaking And oil going to my spark pugs. As for the 30% the read out was from AFC. Hopping to get back my ecu with in the next 2 days and go from there.

Disconnect the afc and diagnosis the problem if it even continues with it disconnected.

Update Replaced TPS it was all worned out now runs great. Wish we did this sooner idle use to be around 1k now it's running at 700-800rpm, although sometimes driving it and down shifting idle bogs down a lot To the point where it almost wants to die. Any suggestions ?

Did you calibrate the tps?
