Ok, I've got a 7mgte swapped into my 84 supra, and for some reason at ~5k rpm it starts missing like crazy in any gear. I cant see anything wrong just by looking around the engine compartment, although i have a feeling it might be a boost leak. Some of my IC pipes have small cracks in them right near the clamp, but it dosnt look like the cracks extend far enough down the pipe to be a problem. could that cuase something like I'm explaining?

I've got a similiar problem. I went to the track and it missed like crazy at high RPM's, then idled horribly and my CEL would come on and off.
I believe it's due to bad valve cover gaskets and plugs.

mine was doin the same thing, couldnt see anything from lookin at the engine. i found a hole on my turbo to ic pipe. it was on the back where i could not see it.
I have new plugs and wires, and still experience this, also occasionally ill fit fuel cut and im right around 10psi. Boost Leak?
If you reach full pressure earlier in the RPM band and have no problems, then its not a boost leak. But if you are still spooling and haven't reached full pressure by 5k, it could be a boost leak. More often than not, higher RPM stutters are from spark blow out. Often times, leaning out a little more around the stutter (only do this if you are actually monitoring your AFR), replacing plugs, replacing plug wires, regapping the plugs to a smaller gap or stepping down a step or 2 colder will solve it.
I'm reaching full boost before 5k rpm. Usually around 3k rpm i'm at 6psi boost, and it stays consistent. I've got new ngk platinums gapped at .032". plug wires are original. And I did notice some oil around the spark plug boot when I pulled wire. Its probably time for new wires, and solve the oil leak.
