ive heard people say that with 400hp or more the supra would not be able to hook right ? something to do with the stock gearbox does anyone have any comments on this . i dont know much about it this guy in ny changed from stick to auto because he said his was not hooking right
high horsepower = problems?

It's harder to launch and drive a stick in the 1/4 mile. Autos will be faster with equal hp to a manual. If you practice, have the right tires and suspension setup you can launch a manual no problem.

Knowledge is power, search for the drag racing sticky by out of step. My biggest prob with the 5 speed was finding a happy medium between dumping it and bogging down, and slipping it and overheating the clutch, but I looooooves my auto.
