Well I have been having headaches, and been shaky, and feeling my heartbeat in my head....I checked my blood pressure, and it was 198/125...then later 168/111....then 181/111....then 148/101..then 163/111..then 167/128...then 167/128! (2 days of readings) The doctor is worried that I might have damaged internal organs because I was stroke level for days, and didn't go to the doctor until today. She told me it will take several different meds to get it down to normal...and testing will tell on the rest. :3d_frown: Man, like my little family don't have enough on our plate...we get this. I hope I don't stroke out before it gets under control.

Mine runs 190/100 with a heart rate of 120 at rest without my medication. I was having migraine type symptoms, with the "heart beat in my head". My blood pressure problems are genetic. Listen to your doctor.

Dude, don't F around with that. I can't tell you how many people I see who are non compliant with their meds and are now on dialysis from renal failure or are weakened on one side from a stroke. Like Vixen said, listen to your doctor.

I suggest an I-V with a 20mL drip of Sea-foam.

Follow up by attatching a sand hopper to "port and polish" your veins.

Seriously though... listen to your doctor. They just got a butt load of money to talk to you, dont let that go to waist... 4 years of med school sometimes puts them in the know.

LOL You guys crack me up. I will be sure to take my meds ontime...I just hope they get it under control. The doc said it will take several meds... The thing is....I send people to the hospital by ambulance with BP that are alittle less....but I had to wait three damn days. Im an UBER-DUMBASS. :sarcasm:
OK I am eating cherrio's while the IV of seafoam is dripping. My PCV valve does need a good cleaning...and Meds are taken. I should be good for the night. :biglaugh:

if you eat garlic, split the garlic in half and then take out the stem. sauté the garlic in some olive oil, not to much olive oil. the stem of the garlic is what makes it taste bitter. then mix the garlic in ceerios. that makes it healthy x2.

The garlic thing is for real. It can effectively lower your chloesteral by 30-40% with regular consumption. That in turn will bring your bp down. One to two mile brisk walks everyday, and a couple of glasses of grape juice (real juice) I drink Welch's with no sugar added, and fresh tomatoes several times a week, and you'll feel like a new man in a couple of months! In the meantime, take the meds as prescribed, and try to keep your stress level down (good luck w/ that! LOL!)
Oh yeah, I think the Cheerio's thing is also legit! (no sugar though, skim milk too!)

All the good advice has already been given so I'll just say a prayer for you even though you don't believe in God, and I'll hope for the best.

There's no way for him to not stress, he owns a supra, and it's going under the knife right now.

Thanks everyone for all the advice. Garlic might be good for the BP, but it would play hell with my acid reflux..LOL I have to go in for a MRI with Contrast on my noggin after my BP is under control. Good luck finding anything in there....LOL Its probubly hollow.:biglaugh: Thanks Suprahero.
