hid ballast installation question

anyone have any suggestions on where to mount the ballast on the driver side for the driver side headlight?
look slike the battery takes up alot of space
should i relocate the battery?

I bolted mine to the bumper frame rail underneath the headlight assembly. This required removing the whole assembly.

yeah i was afraid that if i fastened it to the frame rail the lights wouldnt close but there was enough clearance and i got hids!!!! only now i have to find out how to get my foglights to work

Its never that easy...

I noticed my foglights stopped working after the conversion as well... any ideas why?

I mounted mine under the head lights on the side frame - great place , close to the batteri on one side and the run the wires for number to just behind the top of the cooler

Hi just a reply to your fog lights not working after hid install, ur hid kit should come w/ relay wiring that plugs into the stock bulb plugs. the wiring should have both ballast connection (thats if u have the xenon type hid). Now to get ur fog light working, if u look at the stock plug there should be three female connector, if i can remember its the the left slot needs to be plug to a power source. Mine is connected to the battery. good luck
