just wanted to say hi. picked up an 87 turbo supra the other day that was so stock it still has the original plugs and wires and never had any aftermarket parts put on it at all. figured it would be a good project car. going to be a nice junky looking sleeper. leaving the outside 100% untouched

i don't have alot of turbo experience, but i'm fairly advanced with supercharger builds (so if anyone needs advice on that i would gladly help out), and i've been getting mixed opinions on how much power the oem bottom end will hold, so instead of a rebuild with oem parts, i'll probably end up $3k+ in the hole for the engine work and $1k or so for the turbo... but then again we all know how early cost estimates turn into horrible understatements on a quality build lol

Welcome, any pictures???

none yet, just finally got the car into the garage yesterday. it looks like the usual beat up old car, faded paint a small dent here or there, cracked dash etc... but i'm not doing anything cosmetic to the car, i want it to be ugly as sin, in hopes to make some $ off some races from people that don't know any better

Welcome to the forums. Post some pictures and maybe start a build thread when you get a chance. Owning a MKIII Supra is a trying experience, to say the least. :biglaugh:
