My name is Kyle Shelton. I've raised on Toyotas since I was in the womb- literally. My dad is an ASE master certified mechanic and I hope to one day follow in his footsteps (If I ever get my behind in school for it...). He's owned nearly every model Toyota up to '92 and several newer than that, including each one of mine in turn. Previas, Celicas, Supras, Corollas, Camrys, Four-runners, Pickups, Fj40s, Siennas, etc,etc... My first car was a 1987 carbureted Toyota 22r pickup. Wouldn't pass smog no matter how much my dad tinkered with it, even after buying a brand new head for it. I remember spending hours scraping off the old head gasket with a razor blade... Good times. We eventually gave it to my grandmother, who lives in Montana. She blew it up at 290,somethin miles. That, and auto shop at school really got me hooked. I'd always liked cars, but really working on them and seeing them run when we finished was awesome. Since then I've owned three more vehicles: A '94 Paseo, a '91 Cressida, and my Supra. The last of the three risen from the grave. Still piecing her together, and still not sure where exactly I want to go with it. Right now just getting the 7m up and running properly. Maybe someday a 1uz swap, maybe 2jz. In short I would just like to express my enthusiasm at finally being able to afford to own a supra and being given the opportunity to learn from those who have spent years working on and enjoying these cars along with me. :naughty:
