Anyone have hi/low beam HIDS installed in your MKIII that won't switch into hi beam or vice versa? Is it more likely bulb problems or controller box failure?

It's more likely a lack of the fog light rewire mod.
Try turning on the fog lights. Do the HIDs go out? If so, lookup the foglight rewire mod here or on supras.com and you should be set.

are you sure your hids have a high beam light? some hids do not have a high beam at all or is an option.
