Hi everyone, I just joined the site about 10days ago. I need all the tips and advice I can get on my baby, Bleezy because I'm paranoid about things going wrong with my vehicles. Now that I have one that is actually worth putting money into, I don't want to screw up. I know Supras are very particular about what brands of parts are put on them also so as I'm building my car i will have lots of questions on what brand and where I should order from if I need it brand spankin new out of the box.
ABOUT MY RIDE CURRENTLY: CHICO, CA has fucked my car up. Not really but since I moved here I've dealt with constant troubles. Finally I'm to the root of the problem. My timing belt is off a tooth due to the last mechanic who replaced it back around 100K. Now she has 117,4__! I know, low right? but she's been running with that timing belt loose for that long-all bad. Well, you probably guessed it, gray smoke coming out the exhaust...SO SAD...blown head gasket.
1) Any suggestions on the head gasket I should order? I was just going to order Toyota's stock HG from Horsepowerfreaks.com.
2)Also I need to replace my headers, down pipe, pretty much my entire system except for the "half-cat-back Blitz nur spec" I have on it.
3) my rack and pinion PWS boot is cracked and the high pressure hose has been leaking for about a year now.
Please help me get my baby purring like a Liger again!!
