Long story short.
Found an abandended 86.5 about a year ago. Searched for owner. Gave him
$100. Car was and still is trashed and crashed, jumped and dumped. Been slowly gathering parts. Just two weeks ago I was follwing up a lead for the
elusive trim I came across a 1988 targa turbo. A few parts have been picked
off, but it still remaines a compete car. Interer is ok (blue and cloth). $720
car is mine. Thankyou. This is the cars.
86.5- black, tan leather(bad shape) standard trans. NA, heads was ok but bad cam journels. Suspension stock with purple color springs. (very low)
88-missing MAF and some piping, turbo a little loose(oil thru out intire intake)
wires hacked, jumped, crossed, and burnt. It's an auto trans.
This is the plan :evil2: Make one from the two:icon_bigg
Will use the 88 as it is most complete and dose not look like any one has jumped it. Altough the wood screws holding whats left of the trim has got
to go. Will try and get some pics up in couple days (gota make em smaller)
(gotta learn how to do that)
What kinda horspower you ask? Well first gotta get her runing and road worthy. Thean probley same as every body eles......till the wallet is empty.

Got no heat+I got no garage, lol. But on the bright side I got a shed this year
so I don't have to walk 60 feet to go get anuother wrench. And the house is
way roomier without my toolboxes and parts in here. Little Newfoundland eh?
Ha Ha just kidding, been to Ft. Mac quite a few times in the past. Use to drive
a red and white KW haulen internationale frieght to and from (not so much
from). Thanx for the welcome. Really like this site. Set up nice and lots of
info flowing around. Muzy

This will be my last post here. Will go to build thread and start there. Still waitting for
AFM, so I topped off antifreze and thought I'd crank it over to try circulate it through
cranked about 2 flips and fired up. Wow thought it needed the AFM to run. Bad news
Knocked so hard it acually sounded like the crank hitting the big end. So out she comes
and over to a build thead. See you there. (when I get somthing to post that is) Muzy
