I thought I better introduce myself, since I've been hanging out here so much! I'm the mom of a 16 yo son that is building a 1988 Supra non turbo for his first car. I am helping him in this endeavor and know that if we can't find the information in his manual or on websites, that the knowledge base in the forums just can't be beat. I have learned a lot from the many posts that I have read the past few days, and I must say quite a few of you have a cool sense of humor. Thank you for letting me be a member of your group.

Thanks for the welcome. We are fortunate to have found and bought the "Toyota 1988 Supra Repair Manual" right after he got the cars. It is the same as the one from the link you gave me, but thank you just the same. My brother also happens to be a Toyota ASE Master Mechanic, but I try not to bother him unless I absolutlely can't figure it out. Plus he works on the newer cars including those new Hybrids, not the vintage ones. Hopefully after we make it through his car, I'll actually be able to help others that are just starting out! I know how to work on the old Chevy small blocks, don't know as much about all these computor controlled engines and trannies.
