Well hi everyone. Yeah I'm a lurker and have been for quite awhile, many circumstances have contributed to this.
I've continued reading and learning here in hopes of one day buying a MKIII again, but money got in the way as well as having my fiance not letting me have more than 3 cars at once... hmmmm.
I did have a 87 turbo 5spd hardtop. Blue mica, rough body, but did it ever go. I sunk bout 2000 into fixing the engine up, seals, lines, new parts etc.
Then shortly after that I ended up losing the car in an engine fire, because the body was so rough the insurance just wrote it off. I used the money from that to fix up my MA61 supra some more.
I currently have 2 supras and a corolla.
82 & 83 MA61 GTS (canadian for p-type) and picked up a 81 TE72 for winter/DD commute.
I am primarily on Celicasupra.com, but the knowledge on this site is extremely helpful as well. I hope to own a MA70 and swap in a Z series, whether a JZ or UZ. I am planning to put a 1UZ into my 82 and turbo it, I have the plans in place and know how, a set of mounts, and fabricator lined up, I just need to get the money for it now.
Well that's it for now. I'll see if I can get my MKIII pics onto the PC and upload them.
